Cheryl L. Dobson

57 year old, Cheryl L. Dobson of Hobart formerly of Wheatfield, passed away June 30, 2017, with her loving family around her.

Cheryl was born on March 1, 1960, in East Chicago, Indiana to Gene and Betty Lindeau. Cheryl attended Kankakee Valley High School, and later attended Ivy-Tech for her LPN nursing degree. She was married to Carter Dobson on June 18, 2016.

Cheryl is survived by her husband: Carter Dobson, children: Marenia (Roderick) Branch, James (Rachel) Myers III, Amber Schwanke, Adam Schwanke, Jeremiah Schwanke, Amy Schwanke, Ricky Schwanke, Jacob (Amber) Schwanke, 21 grandchildren, and two brothers: Harry (Becky) Lindeau & Eric (Heather) Lindeau.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Heather Myers, two grandchildren: Ashlynn Schwanke and Kayla Black, sisters: Linda Ventrello & Cindy Lindeau, and brother: Earnest Lindeau.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at the Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church, 501 E 550 N, Rensselaer, Indiana. Services for Cheryl will take place at the church on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Thurman Ritchie officiating. Internment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Rensselaer, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
