Carol Sue Petro

Carol Sue Petro of Demotte, IN passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 13, 2020.  She was 81.

On June 19, 1938, in Washington, Indiana, Carol was born to Frank and Sunshine (Ruckreigle) Wallace. On February 2, 1974 in Merrillville, Indiana Carol married the love of her life: Charles Petro Sr. Carol loved her dog, grandchildren, watching Crime Shows, listening to Elvis Presley, and Mickey Gilley. She especially loved to shop!

Carol is survived by her husband Charles J. Petro, 3 children: Debi (Rick) Qualls, Frank Stum, Steve (Sandy) Stum, 5 grandchildren:  Megan, Gary, Carol, Dan, and Kylie, and brother James (Norma) Wallace.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Sunshine (Ruckreigle) Wallace, step-mother Edna Wallace, brother William ‘Ben’ Wallace, and sister Nancy Crawford.

Interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Washington, Indiana, on Monday, May 18, 2020 @ 1:00 p.m. (CST).
