Carol Fifield

72 year old, Carol J. Fifield, of DeMotte, passed away at St. Anthony’s Medical Center on March 9, 2008.

On August 17, 1935, Carol was born to Waverly F. and Mary E. (nee: McNeil) Porter in Medaryville. Carol graduated from high school. She was employed at Hunt Wesson/Con Agra as a shipping clerk. In December 1954, Carol married Ed Fifield, to this union were born three daughters, Kristi & Dick Leach, and Beth & John Tyler, and the late Melanie Allen. Also surviving are six grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, one brother Kenneth & Dot Porter, and one sister Janet Zimpleman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Melanie, and Ed Fifield.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, March 14, 2008, from 2:00 until 7:00 PM, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Carol will take place at 7:00 PM on Friday, March 14, 2008, at the Boersma Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Bulthuis officiating.

Per Carol’s wishes cremation will follow.
