Carol Baumgarte

62 year old, Carol D. Baumgarte of Wheatfield passed away July 8, 2011.

On August 29, 1948, Carol was born to Carlton E. and Delores (nee: Schrum) Rudelius in Hammond, Indiana. Carol married William Leon Baumgarte in Griffith on February 4th, 1976 at the Church of Latter-day Saints. Carol enjoyed being a housewife/homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Surviving are: loving husband William “Leon”, children: William Leon (Jane) Baumgarte Jr., Anthony ‘Tony’ (Leah) Baumgarte, Carl (Jennifer) Biro, Chris Biro, Cullen (Leonor) Baumgarte, Cameron Baumgarte, Nicholas Baumgarte, Charles Baumgarte, Carrielle (Luke) Cofax.

Carol was preceded in death by her daughter: Crispin, parents Carlton E. Rudelius and Delores Schrum-Redelius, and brother: William Rudelius.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, from 4:00 until 6:30 p.m. at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, July 14, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with President Ron Cameron officiating and interment will take place at the Cemetery of the Resurrection in DeMotte.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
