Betty L. McCormick-Good

86 year old, Betty L. McCormick-Good, of Rensselaer, passed away on April 13, 2022, with her loving family around her.

On February 1, 1936, Betty was born to Thomas and Mildred (Sims) DePoy in Winamac, Indiana. She attended Pulaski County Schools. Betty worked for Northway, as a factory worker for some time. She like to do all types of yard work, mowing the lawn, gardening, and attending to her flower beds.

Betty is survived by her children: Garry (Julie) Shidler, Linda (David) Hanewich, and Robert (Darlene) Shidler, 9 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, and sister: Donna (Bud) Cowder.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husbands: Thomas R. McCormick, Donald Good, son: Mark Shidler, daughter-in-law: Denise Shidler, grandson: Mike Shidler, half-brother Daniel Vanman.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Betty will take place at the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, with Pastor Dave Patterson officiating.

Interment will take place on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. (CST) at St. Henry’s Catholic Cemetery, in Medaryville, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Haven Hospice or the Kniman United Methodist Church.
