Bertha Clemans

79 year old, Bertha Clemans of Leesburg, formerly of Rensselaer passed away October 2, 2013 at her home.

On December 26, 1933 in Salyersville, Kentucky to Sam and Maude (nee: Allen) Bailey. Bertha married Richard Clemans. Bertha was always associated with the food industry as she worked at Rafferties Restaurant in Rensselaer. She also worked at Northway in Rensselaer.

Bertha is survived by her children: Patty (Jeral) Stone, Mary (Jimmie) Wireman, Richard (Sue) Clemans, JoAnn Clemans, Charles Clemans, James Clemans, & Steve Clemans, 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Bertha was preceded in death by her husband Richard, 4 sisters, 5 brothers, and 1 grandson.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will take place at the funeral home on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Rick Helton officiating. Graveside services will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the DeMotte Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
