Bernadine 'Babe' Goff

70 year old, Bernadine “Babe” Goff, passed away Friday, May 12, 2006. On November 8, 1935, Babe was born to Joseph Charles Moss and Helen (nee: Bendschieder) Moss in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Wheatfield High School. Babe and Claude Goff were married on July 23, 1959. Being a Native American Indian, Babe loved to attend rendezvous’, and tell children of the ways of the Indians. She worked at many trades, but loved being a homemaker the most, it allowed her to take care of all her critters.

Surviving are her children, Cathy & Gery Gilbert, Claudia & George Floyd, and William Goff, 1 granddaughter Jennifer, 2 sisters, Cecelia Taylor and JoAnne & Maurie Tanis, and 1 brother Joseph “Sonny” Moss, Jr.

Per Babe’s wishes no visitation will be held. She will be buried in full Native American Indian dress with graveside services being conducted by a Shaman. Services will be held on Monday, May 15, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Roselawn Cemetery in Roselawn, Indiana.
