Barbara Sexton

72 year old, Barbara Sexton, of Wheatfield, passed away January 2, 2024.

On January 17, 1951, in Rensselaer, Indiana, Barbara was born to Marion and Clara (Elder) Martin. She married Kernie Sexton on June 28, 1974, in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Barbara worked at Holly’s as a waitress/bartender for many years, and enjoyed being a housewife. She especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her children: Ray Sexton, Santina (Chris) Sexton-Hardy, Lisa (Sid) Sanchez, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and sibling: Lewis Martin.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband: Kernie, parents: Marion & Clara, grandson: Cliff, and siblings: Sandra Pasternak, Judy Hugg, Marion D. Martin, and Jim Martin.

Friends are welcome to the graveside service on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
