April Lynn Wheeler

34 year old, April Lynn Wheeler, of Rensselaer passed away on May 7, 2020, due to an auto accident.

On December 16, 1985, April was born in Valparaiso, Indiana to William R. Wheeler Jr., and Marcy (Jones) Wheeler. April loved being a cosmetologist and worked for Fiesta Hair Salon in Rensselaer. She loved to crochet, fish and especially loved animals and her family.

April is survived by her loving family: children: Hayley (Austin Myers) Wheeler, Aidan Jones, Wyatt Wheeler, Parker Vickery, parents: William R. Wheeler Jr., & Marcy Wheeler, siblings: Eric (Jaime) Wheeler, Jaclyn (fiancé Adam Cuba) Wheeler, grandparents: Kathy (Ralph) Jones.

April was preceded in death by her grandparents: Bernice & William Wheeler Sr., and Great-grandparents: Jack & Marjorie Carmichael.

Modified visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.

Private family interment will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wheatfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
