Anna Marie Sholes

74 year old, Anna ‘Marie’ Sholes, of Francesville, passed away May 17, 2024, at her home with her loving family around her.

On November 5, 1949, Anna was born to Goldie Lorena (Riddle) Short, in Richwood, West Virginia. She graduated from Richwood High School. She married the love of her life, John M. Sholes on November 29, 1968, in Persinger, West Virginia. Anna liked to bowl. She also enjoyed quilting and cooking.

Anna Marie, is survived by her husband: John, children: Annette Sargent, Melinda (Troy) Crane, 4 grandchildren: Brice, Blake, Brayden, Tyler, and siblings: Johnny Short, Patsy Talbert, Kathy (Larry) Browning, Denise (Kenny) Arnett, Lee Roy (Donna) Short.

Anna Marie, was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter: Tina Clinton.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Anna Marie will take place on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. (EST) at the funeral home. Graveside services will take place on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. (EST) at Roseland Cemetery with Pastor John Dekruyter.
