Anna Faye Messer

67 year old, Anna “Faye Richie” Messer, of Rensselaer passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Health Center, Crown Point, Indiana.

On August 26, 1947, Anna Faye was born to Joseph and Edna Wireman at home in Medaryville, Indiana. Anna Faye worked at St. Joseph’s College in food service for over 20 years. She attended the Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church and the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church.

Anna Faye is survived by her sons: Herschel Richie and Amos (Debra) Richie, grandchildren: Nathan, Luke, & Brooklyn; siblings: Irene Rudd, Ruby Manns, & Don Wireman.

Anna Faye was preceded in death by her two husbands: Canada Richie & Paul Messer, and brother: Victor ‘Dick’ Wireman.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, St. Rd. 49 S, Wheatfield, Indiana. Service for Anna Faye will take place at the church on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Patrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Richie Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cancer Society.
