Anita Flippo

43 year old, Anita (Shupe) Flippo of DeMotte, passed away April 8, 2009.

On December 2, 1965, Anita was born to Harold W. and Berdene (nee: Neely) Shupe in Gary, Indiana. She was a graduate of Kankakee Valley High School. She was a lifetime area resident. Anita worked at McDonalds in DeMotte as a cook. She was affiliated with the Faith Pentecostal Church of God.

Anita is survived by her husband, Ed, son, Doug Shupe, granddaughter, Keira, and sisters, Deborah (Scott) Helton, Cheryl (Ron) Staddon, and Doreen Shupe.

Anita was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Shupe-Flippo, sister, Sharon, and her parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, April 13, 2009 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Anita will take place on Monday, April 13, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Helton officiating. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Wheatfield Cemetery.
