Amalia 'Molly' Figueroa

82 year old, Amalia ‘Molly’ Figueroa, of Wheatfield, passed away November 25, 2023.

On September 30, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, Molly was born. She married Elias Figueroa. Amalia attended bible study on Tuesdays in DeMotte. Molly enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She liked to cook and host family gatherings. Molly played Bingo, and watched soap operas.

Molly is survived by her children: John J. Patterson, Jose (Melissa) Figueroa, Ricardo (Nina) Figueroa, 6 grandchildren: Nicolas J. Patterson, Jose L. Figueroa Jr., Isaiah J. Patterson, Jacob Figueroa, Karina F. Figueroa, Aviana R. Nunez, and 4 + great-grandchildren: Emi, Julian, Grayson, Eli, +1 on the way, siblings: Mary, Terry, Ruben, and Poncho.

Molly was preceded in death by her husband: Elias, and 4 brothers.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield. Mass will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church, with Father Michael McKinney officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Kouts, Indiana.
