Alfred Peters

60 year old, Alfred Peters, of DeMotte passed away January 27, 2022 at his home.

On October 25, 1961, Alfred was born to Roland Sr., and Jean Brinza) Peters in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania.  He attended high school at Portage, and then worked for the Local 1005 Carpenter’s Union. Alfred liked to play horseshoes, raced stock car races, and just drive everywhere.

Alfred is survived by his mother: Jean, siblings: Victor (Michelle) Peters, Glen Peters, Dawn (Pete) Baudouine, and Cindy (Ryan) Wireman, fiance’ Robin Hahn and her son: Zachery Blount, several nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.   

Alfred was preceded by his father: Roland Sr., brothers: Roland Peters Jr., and Larry Peters, and nephew: Lawrence Dale Peters Jr.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Catholic services will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Joe Van Schepen officiating.

Graveside services will take place on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Holland Cemetery, DeMotte, Indiana.

Due to the weather - - graveside will take place on Saturday morning, February 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holland Cemetery in DeMotte, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
