Alejandro "Al" Torres

Mr. Alejandro  (Al) Torres, 86, of Wheatfield, passed away at 10:45 AM, Thursday, November 8th, 2007.

Alejandro was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, on July 4, 1921, the son of the late Benigno Guzman and Dominga (Torres) Rivera.

He worked as a groundskeeper

He was the husband of Janet Torres.

Alejandro is survived by two daughters: Lucy Crespo, Victoria Wolff; two sons: Julio Guzman, Christopher Torres, a step daughter, Karen Albers, two step sons Kevin McGuffin, Brian McGuffin

He is also survived by several grandchildren Jennifer, Nicholas, Benjamin, Sarah, Brandon, Justin, Brent, Ryan, Tyler, Kodi, and host of other grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren

Alejandro is also survived by a sister, Esperanza, and three brothers, Efrin, Gilberto, Celinio

Deceased - Brothers: Juan, Francisco,  Sisters: Ida, Chave

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, November 11, 2007, 2:00 to 7:00  at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, IN.

Religious Service at Boersma Funeral Home, Wheatfield, IN, at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 11, 2007, with Pastor Joseph Ledwell officiating.

 Interment will take place at the Skyline Cemetery, in Monee, Illinois.
