58 year old, Albert ‘Al’ Czarnecki Jr., of DeMotte, passed away March 16, 2024, at his home with his loving family around him.
On July 9, 1965, in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, Al was born to Albert Sr., and Patricia (Knapp) Czarnecki. Al graduated from LaCrosse High School in 1983. On December 16, 1988, Al married the love of his life, Rebecca ‘Becky’ Stembel, in Winamac, Indiana, on a $5.00 bet. Al worked as a maintenance man at DeMotte Elementary for many years. He was a member of the “Sons of the Legion” Squadron #92 at North Judson. One of his favorite hobbies was playing with the grandkids.
Al is survived by his loving family: wife: Becky, children: Chance (Allisha) Czarnecki, Donovan (Sara Rodriguez) Czarnecki, Echo (Mike) Mann, 4 grandchildren: Maverick, Mackenzie, Jack and Penelope, siblings: Rod Czarnecki and Jean (Tom) Walters, Uncles: John (Edith) Czarnecki Jr., & Norm Howell, step-mother: Nancy Czarnecki, many nieces and nephews.
Al was preceded in death by his parents: Albert Sr. and Pat, brother: Rick Czarnecki, and granddaughter: Daphne Rodriguez.
Al was a true friend and will be dearly missed.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.
Graveside funeral will be Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Wheatfield Cemetery.
